ATP Tokyo – Tsonga wins 100% French clash

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga defeated his fellow countryman Gael Monfils in straight sets

 

Tsonga and Monfils faced for the fifth time in their career, Jo-Wilfried leads the head-to-head 3-1 and was looking to repeat 2009 success at Tokyo.

Tsonga knows he has to produce good tennis in order to qualify for London, he is currently the 10^th player on the race to London. The player also known as Ali served at great level not allowing Sliderman to have a single break point. In a very close match between two good friends, was Tsonga who emerged victorious 6 – 3 7 – 6.
