WTA Beijing – Victoria Azarenka suffers second early straight loss

After last week disappointing performance at Tokyo where Victoria Azarenka lost to Venus Williams 2 – 6 4 – 6, the World No. 2 was surprised once again in Beijing against Andrea Petkovic.

The Belarusian struggled with her serve with 15 double faults and despite Petkovic physical problems in the second set, the German was able to recover from a set down in the third to claim her best season victory.
