Joao Souza
starts title defense with solid performance
The 2012
champion Joao Souza and 1st seed at Cali started his title defense
against the current World No. 1787 and former top 110 Giovanni Lapentti. The
Brazilian served at great level winning 83% first serve points and not dropping
his serve during all match. In the next round he’ll face the qualifier
Argentinean Juan Ignacio Londero.
This was a
good day for the favorites at Cali and all the seeded players were able to pull
