Pablo Carreno Busta claims 3rd straight title and 11th season trophy

After missing almost all year of 2012 with a back injury, Pablo Carreno Busta is playing at an outstanding level in 2013. The season started with a 39 – 1 record in Future events and after that he moved to another level, playing Challenger and also ATP tournaments.
The highlights in ATP are the semi-final at Portugal Open where he lost to the champion Stanislas Wawrinka in three sets. At Roland Garros he reached the main draw losing to Roger Federer.
Carreno Busta is building once again a remarkable run, this time in the Challenger Tour with 15 wins in a row and three titles (Segovia, Cordenons and Como). The last one was conquest just a few minutes ago after his win against Dominc Thiem by 6 – 2 5 – 7 6 – 0. The Spanish has also proved to be very strong in decisive moments, this year he has an amazing 30 – 5 3rd set record.

Hope to see him soon playing ATP tournaments more often because he has already proved to have quality for that
