WTA Tokyo – Caroline Wozniacki recovers from set down

Caroline Wozniacki lost the first set against Lucie Safarova, but was able to comeback from that disadvantage to reach Tokyo’s semi-final.

Safarova was just unstoppable in the first set losing just four points on serve and breaking Wozniacki two times to close the opening set 6 – 2.
The Danish player fought back in the second set and at 3 – 2 she got her first break after a double fault from Safarova. Caroline held serve and closed this one 6 – 3.
In the decisive set was all about Wozniacki, Safarova struggled with Caro’s consistency and the former world No. 1 took this decisive set 6 – 2.
In the next round Caroline Wozniacki will face Angelique Kerber.
